I was happy to hear that Italy's Consul General Giuseppe Perrone was impressed with the What If Godzilla Just Wanted a Hug? book signing event at the Istituto Italiano Di Cultura Los Angeles.  He stayed after to personally share how much he appreciated the evening's underlying spiritual message–that life flows in a positive direction.
By the feedback, most all of the guests shared how much they were surprised by and appreciated hearing all the practical benefits of meditation.  They found it refreshing to learn how easy it is for anyone can get started.

The personal stories I shared from my new book began by highlighting the positive side effects of being Italian-American,
and rapidly expanded to include the positive side effects of being true to ourselves.  With Ed Biagiotti joining me on stage as moderator and host, the crowd was treated to a real Funniest Thing! with Darrell and Ed evening.   On our radio show and weekly podcast we share stories of how stepping out boldly always leads to better-than-expected outcomes, and this evening was no different.
As I signed copies of What If Godzilla Just Wanted a Hug? for guests after the presentation, I was thrilled to hear them compliment us with, "What a great message.  The two of you really made everyone feel great.  You should do this more often."
Special thanks to the Istituto Italiano Di Cultura,
as well as Acting Director Massimo Sarti and Deputy Director Michela Magri
for
being just crazy enough to risk hosting this event.  Grazie Mille!
