Over the year's I've enjoyed donating my time and talent to i-Italy.org. I'm proud to be a member of the i-Italy.org community and will be looking for ways that I can continue to contibute. You can too by making a tax deductable contribution. There are only few hours to go to 2014 and to become our contributor friend in spreading Italian and Italian-American culture throughout the US. Do this by making an end-of-the-year tax deductible donation to support our work. Consider donating even a few bucks and help us keep our work completely free -- not only online, but on TV and in print too. Click here and have fun being a part of our i-Italy.org community, the most respected one-stop spot online for info and entertainment concerning Italy and Italian Americans.
Funniest thing, i-ItalyTV producer Letizia Airos noticed from my Facebook posts that I was in NYC on Columbus Day and called to see if I would be available and would like to guest host with Italian chef Rosanna Di Michele for a segment on i-Italy TV. Letizia explained that since Rosanna spoke very little English, and I spoke no Italian that it would be funny. Of course I said yes, and found out eating lentils on New Year's Eve brings good fortune$. On New Year's Eve Italians eat lentils: a typical dish which brings you luck. According to tradition, the more lentis you eat more money you will make in the new year.
